Sinopsis
Buoyed by the imagination of Jules Verne, who once contributed to the international renown of the land of the northern lights, Christine Oberdorff adds the black-and-white imagery of award-winning Icelandic photographer Ragnar Axelsson. This new opus navigates between what characterizes the island of fire and ice: the imaginary and the real, from the bluish reflections of the caves at the top of Snaefellsjoküll that made Jules Verne fantasize, to the performance of geothermal energy and carbon storage, thanks to which Iceland intends to find remedies for global warming, of which it is one of the Arctic "thermostats".
