Beyond his writing, he is passionate about wilderness and environmental education—he has led outdoor expeditions across three continents and served on the board of directors for the Geography of Hope nonprofit, reflecting his deep love for the outdoors.
Bremner earned significant acclaim through his contributions to the "Bad Boys" franchise, having written the screenplay for Bad Boys for Life (2020) and serving as writer and executive producer for Bad Boys: Ride or Die (2024). He also co-wrote the action-comedy The Man from Toronto (2022), which debuted as the number one film globally on Netflix. Additionally, his writing credits include The Pink Panther reboot, National Treasure 3, and The Wedding Ringer, demonstrating his versatility across various genres, including action, comedy, drama, and history.
In his professional trajectory, Bremner frequently works as a script doctor on projects in development or production, and he maintains a producing deal with Sony Pictures under his production company, Unknown Quantity. This dual role as both a writer and producer highlights his growing influence and creative control within the industry.
On a personal level, Bremner is multilingual—fluent in English, with working proficiency in Spanish and elementary German—and actively engages in boarding and leading wilderness trips when not in Hollywood. He resides in the Hollywood Hills with his wife, Sarah Perlman Bremner, and their expanding family.
