Sadly, her circus career came to a painful end on February 13, 2004. At a performance with the Matrix Circus in North Carolina, she fell 40 feet from her trapeze and landed on concrete, breaking both of her legs, several ribs, and every bone in her arms. Surgeries and extensive physical therapy gave her back the use of her limbs, but she couldn't go back to performing with the circus.
